2. The Service

bnktr.ee ("Service") is a digital business card platform that allows professionals to create a public page displaying their payment details and contact information. The Service is operated by NET Partner OÜ.

Important: bnktr.ee does not process, hold, facilitate, or guarantee any financial transactions. All payments are made directly between clients and page owners through third-party payment services. We are not a payment processor, financial institution, or money transmitter.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You may only create one account per person
  • Usernames are granted on a first-come, first-served basis
  • We reserve certain usernames (brand names, common words, system terms) to prevent abuse
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information displayed on your page

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use bnktr.ee only for lawful purposes. The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Fraud and scams — creating pages that deceive visitors or solicit funds under false pretenses
  • Impersonation — pretending to be another person, organization, or brand
  • Money laundering — using the service to disguise the origins of illegally obtained funds
  • Illegal content — posting content that violates applicable laws
  • Username squatting — registering usernames of known brands, public figures, or trademarks with the intent to profit or deceive
  • Spam and abuse — automated account creation, scraping, or any activity that degrades service quality

5. Content and Payment Methods

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of wallet addresses and payment links you publish
  • Ensuring your payment methods comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Any claims, disputes, or issues arising from payments made through your page

bnktr.ee does not verify the ownership, accuracy, or legitimacy of payment addresses displayed on user pages.

6. Premium Subscription

bnktr.ee offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan with additional features.

6.1 Billing

  • Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
  • All prices are displayed in the currency shown at the time of purchase and include applicable taxes
  • Stripe handles all payment processing, card storage, and billing. bnktr.ee does not store your credit card or payment details
  • By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service

6.2 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your dashboard
  • After cancellation, your Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • Your account and page will revert to the Free plan after the subscription period ends
  • No data is lost upon downgrade — your page, methods, and analytics remain intact

6.3 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will continue on their current price until the next renewal, at which point the new price applies. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

6.4 Early Adopter Program (First 500 Users)

The first 500 registered users receive all Premium features free for 1 year from the date of registration. The following conditions apply:

  • All Premium features are unlocked for the duration of the 1-year period at no cost
  • The benefit is per account, non-transferable, and cannot be combined with other promotions
  • Early Adopter accounts are exempt from inactivity deactivation during the active promo year (same as paid Premium)
  • After the 1-year period expires, the account automatically reverts to the Free plan unless the user subscribes to a paid Premium plan
  • After reverting to Free, standard inactivity rules apply (see Section 11)
  • The benefit cannot be revoked during the active period as long as the account remains in good standing (no Terms violations)
  • If the account is suspended or terminated for Terms violation during the promo period, the remaining promo benefit is forfeited
  • No credit, refund, or compensation is provided for unused portions of the free period

7. Refund Policy

bnktr.ee Premium is a digital service. In accordance with the European Union Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Estonian Consumer Protection Act:

  • By purchasing a Premium subscription, you expressly consent to immediate access to Premium features and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the digital service has been provided
  • Since Premium features are delivered instantly upon payment and the service is fully accessible immediately, refunds are generally not provided
  • If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing Premium features, contact us within 14 days and we will resolve the issue or issue a refund
  • To manage your subscription or request a cancellation, use the Stripe Customer Portal in your dashboard or email info@bnktr.ee

This policy complies with EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) regarding digital content and services. For users in jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws that provide stronger refund rights, those rights prevail.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you add to your page (bio, display name, etc.). By using the Service, you grant bnktr.ee a limited license to display this content as part of your public page.

9. Limitation of Liability

bnktr.ee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Any losses related to payments made through links on user pages
  • Incorrect wallet addresses or payment links provided by users
  • Third-party payment service issues, delays, or failures
  • Cryptocurrency price fluctuations or transaction failures
  • Service downtime or data loss

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

10. Service Availability & Discontinuation

bnktr.ee is provided on a best-effort basis. We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.

  • We may modify, update, or temporarily suspend the Service (or any part of it) at any time for maintenance, security, or improvement purposes
  • We may permanently discontinue the Service with at least 90 days' prior notice to registered users via email
  • If the Service is permanently discontinued, active Premium subscribers will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of their subscription
  • Early Adopter Program participants will not be entitled to any compensation upon discontinuation, as their access was provided free of charge
  • We will make reasonable efforts to allow users to export their data before any permanent shutdown

Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.

11. Account Inactivity & Deactivation

To maintain service quality and prevent abandoned pages, bnktr.ee implements an inactivity policy:

11.1 Inactivity Timeline

  • 30 days of inactivity — you will receive a reminder email that your page requires periodic login activity
  • 60 days — a warning email that your page will be deactivated in 30 days
  • 80 days — a final notice with 10 days remaining before deactivation
  • 90 days — your public page is automatically deactivated (hidden from visitors)

Inactivity is measured from your last login date. Each login resets the inactivity timer.

11.2 What Deactivation Means

  • Your public page (bnktr.ee/username) becomes temporarily hidden from visitors
  • Your account data, payment methods, settings, and analytics are fully preserved
  • You can instantly reactivate your page by simply logging in via magic link
  • All notification emails include a one-click login link for easy reactivation

11.3 Premium Exemption

Active Premium subscribers and Early Adopter Program participants (during their free year) are exempt from inactivity deactivation. Premium pages remain visible regardless of login activity.

11.4 Data Retention

  • Deactivated accounts and their data are retained for at least 12 months after deactivation
  • After 12 months of continuous inactivity post-deactivation, we reserve the right to permanently delete the account and release the username
  • We will send a final notification before permanent deletion

11.5 Account Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice
  • Administrators may delete accounts for Terms violations, abuse, or legal compliance — deleted accounts are permanently anonymized and any active subscriptions are cancelled
  • You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard Settings page
  • Account deletion permanently removes all associated data, including payment methods, analytics, and personal information
  • If a Premium account is terminated for Terms violation, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period

12. Reporting Abuse

Every public bnktr.ee page has a "Report this page" button. Reports are reviewed by our team. You can also report abuse directly at info@bnktr.ee.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

For consumers in the European Union: you may also submit complaints through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are categorized as follows:

  • Minor changes (typos, clarifications, formatting) — take effect immediately upon publication
  • Substantial changes (new obligations, modified rights, pricing changes) — we will notify you via email at least 30 days before they take effect

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with substantial changes, you may delete your account before they take effect.
