bnktr.ee is a digital business card platform. We provide a page where professionals display their payment details. We do not process, store, or handle any financial transactions. Payments go directly from clients to professionals through third-party payment services.
Data we collect
Account data
Email address (required for authentication via magic links), username, display name, bio, and avatar URL. You control what's public on your page.
Payment methods
IBAN numbers, PayPal links, Wise details, and other payment information you add. These are displayed publicly on your bnktr.ee page — that's the purpose of the service.
Analytics data
Anonymous page views and button clicks (which payment methods visitors interact with). This data helps you understand your audience. We don't track visitors across websites.
Technical data
IP addresses (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), basic request headers. Stored temporarily and not linked to personal profiles.
Data we don't collect

Cookies
We use only essential cookies for authentication (JWT token stored in localStorage). No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.
Payment Processing (Stripe)
Premium subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
When you subscribe to Premium, Stripe may collect: your card number, billing address, and email for payment processing. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
Data sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to third parties. The only exception: your public page content (username, display name, bio, payment methods) is publicly accessible by design — that's the core function of the service.
Data retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. Inactive accounts (no payment methods added within 30 days of registration) may be automatically deleted, freeing up the username.
Your rights
- Access: View all your data in the dashboard
- Edit: Update your profile and payment methods at any time
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data

Security
All connections use HTTPS encryption. Authentication is passwordless (magic links), eliminating password-related vulnerabilities. Payment method data is stored in an encrypted database.
